Voting is YOUR RIGHT as an enrolled member of the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah). Your right to vote is one way to connect to our community and your heritage. By exercising your right, you are able to shape the future of YOUR COMMUNITY. Tobias will continue to seek common ground with all tribal members in an effort to maintain your trust. Regardless of your position on the issues, Please come home, participate in meetings and always VOTE. Through your vote YOU become engaged, Once you engage you come to know the issues and Your Knowledge and Engagement is the key to changing our community for the better.
A New Path...

THINK. SHARE. TOGETHER

This message feels like it is long overdue and for that I apologize. For months now, my campaign's message has been "come home, participate and make your voice heard."

First and foremost I want to thank each and every one of you that came home to cast your ballot for whomever you chose to support and exercising YOUR right to vote. I thank my Campaign Team, who worked tirelessly, and all of the extremely hard working volunteers who helped me bring my message to the Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribal Citizens.

I extend my sincere thanks to Chairwoman Andrews-Maltais for the passion she has for our people and the dedication she has shown to protect the rights of our Tribe. We have already begun to work closely to ensure a smooth and peaceful transition of power. I am thankful for her willingness to come together in this process, a shining example of democracy at it's finest.

Our journey has only begun- we need our people to continue to return home, engage, and provide direction to our tribal leadership so we can work together as one People toward shared goals.

More to come…
